I am an artist in (almost) every sense of the word. I draw, I photograph, I write, I create. I am a self taught artist (mostly) and I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. My Dad likes to tell everyone that I was born with a pencil in my hand. Over the years I've dabbled in other medias as well such as painting, photography, digital painting, writing, acting, jewelry making, refashioning clothes, 3 dimensional art, etc, but the three art forms that have really stayed with me are drawing, photography and writing.
I am an Art major (hopefully with a minor in Art History) at a local University with a focus in photography and drawing. I love the idea of having two artistic strengths that I can use to express myself. What I cannot create and capture in one form I can in another, so having the two forms of art to work within helps me to better express who I am and what I'm feeling at the time. These two art forms combined with my writing make for a very powerful expression of an emotion or idea. I recommend reading my work and viewing my art, from the same time period, together as they help to create a whole or more complete image of my life at that time.
